I visited for the first time today, June 4, 2015, and have already recommended it to a friend - a Brooklyn Dodger fan no less. This detail is important, as I walked into this glorious blast from the past wearing a SFG black pullover, in search of a high end piece of Red Sox memorabilia. Go figure. Upon seeing the dreaded black and orange, Rick, and his customer John, brought it to my attention that they were fans of the LAD, at which point I mentioned the friend referenced in the opening sentence above. Immediately, a vibrant conversation of baseball anecdotes and history was off and running. It was John that made the excellent and oft forgotten point that being a fan of the greatest game of all is what we have in common. And yes, Rick did produce the perfect gift for an upcoming introduction to my three week old great nephew.
