I've realized that Dance Theater Northwest's dancers receive very good training when they are young, but when they are older they don' t get any better.

It is unbelievable to know that the young Amanda Morgan came from this small school in University Place and now she is a student at Pacific Northwest Ballet and trained at the top ballet school, School of American Ballet!

Just saw two preview performances of "Paquita" performed by the gorgeous dancers of Dance Theatre Northwest. One was at Arlington Elementary school in the gym, a tough venue, 400 students grade 1 through 6, with little technical support for any performance, but these dancers simply mesmerized the kids. The second at the Narrows Glen Retirement Center where the senior residents were dazzled by the artistic level and professionalism of the company. "Rubies and Roses", DTN's annual recital June 23rd, 2012 at Mt. Tahoma Auditorium, will feature "Paquita" and should not be missed. This is the premiere dance company in this area. Excellent teachers. Great training. Many performing opportunities. Of the highest standards.

Dance Theater Northwest trains amazing dancers!!! For example the young Amanda Morgan. If it was not for Melanie Kirk-Stauffer she would not be in the pre-professional training program at Pacific Northwest Ballet.

Outstanding and professional instructors. I have taken classes at DTN for over 15 years. Students of all ages are welcome and there is such a wholesome and friendly atmosphere that it feels like an extended family. There is opportunity to perform on stage too. I highly recommend this dance studio. af

I highly recommend Dance Theatre Northwest. The quality of the classical training by Melanie Kirk-Stauffer and her staff makes this clean and friendly studio easy to return to time and again. There are classes for every level and age for ballet, jazz and tap. I also love the Dance Exercise classes to keep every muscle in tune and balanced.
