First-classBetter than mostAbout what I expectedNot the worst...Disappointing

I think it is funny to read reviews from people who have obviously NEVER done business at Thoroughbreds. I have bought two cars form there and I know just how nice they are. No, they do not come out the second you drive on the lot. I like that though. This is a very nice family owned dealer with nice people to work with. Take it from me, I really HAVE done business with the Sharples (father & son I think) and they are super nice and very easy going.

My husband and I have now purchased a total of three vehicles from Thoroughbred. Each time we have been very pleased with the car and the service. Yes, this is a small dealer owned and run by the family but they offer nice cars at great prices. We have never been pressured and have always been treated nicely. I have referred many friends and even family (my parents bought a car from Joey almost a year ago and love it) to Thoroughbred. If and when the need arises for another vehicle, Thoroughbred will be our first (and probably only) place to go. These guys are great!

I had been warned about these folks but I went there anyway because they hadnice looking cars on the lot. Well the owner's son Joey Sharples made me jump through so many hoops just to test drive a 2002 Jaguar that I should have turned and walked away from him. He seemed nice enough but who wants to give a copy of their license andtheir insurance paperwork just to test drive a car that is under ten grand, I could havepaid cash for it on the spot but anyway I went along with it and gave him all my information BIG MISTAKE and I will go into that later on. after I test drove the carand brought it back I tried to deal with him because he had told my brother on the phone that he would work with me on the price. it was an untruth on his part, hestood firm on the price. I bought the car and the service engine light came on 12 miles after I left there, Jaguar told me they had reset the codes it was the catalytic converters$3,000 job to fix!
