"We came to The Positive Pooch as a last ditch effort to try and help our dog build confidence after being attacked by a larger dog. He was scared of greeting other dogs and would snap if they came too close. After just 3 weeks in his advanced obedience and agility class, Charlie started improving on walks, in daycare, and his general behavior at home. His confidence has sky rocketed and he is calmer and listens better. We can be around other dogs without an issue. While he isn't 100% cured, I never thought we would even get to this point. Our yellow lab Willy loves going to Positive Pooch. We knew we had to do training classes one night when he pulled me over trying to chase a cat. Loretta fit us in for a private lesson right away to get started and then recommended group classes which was great because it saved us money and helped Willy make some friends. Since then we have also done the group beginner class, and he just started the group advanced class. Last week there were two stray cats in the park. I followed Loretta's instructions and for the first time Willy didn't try to get away from me or pull my arm off to chase them. I am a lot more comfortable walking him now! He has made a lot of other progress as well in just 7 lessons. She has also given him activities that build his confidence like the agility equipment. Loretta is even helping us get him ready for the Canine Good Citizen test which is so important to us because we would like him to be a therapy dog and we are really confident she can help us.

We had a great experience with the Positive Pooch - our puppy just finished the beginner puppy class and has done a great job - he's very young, so we weren't sure how well he would do, but he has learned so much and is going to be such a well behaved member of our little family - we can't wait to continue classes with him to keep him on the right track. The classes were perfect for him and for us. I would definitely recommend these classes to anyone with a new dog.

A wonderful program for puppies and dogs. Loretta is one of the best trainer around. My puppy,Shylow, has learned so much in the 6 week beginner obedience class she took. I was amazed.

We have had great experiences with several of The Positive Pooch's programs, including beginner puppy classes, one-on-one training and puppy play time. Loretta is extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and has helped us learn to use positive reinforcement to achieve our goal of a having well-adjusted dog (and well-adjusted owners too!) Loretta conducts her classes in a professional yet informal manner which is very much appreciated. We can see positive changes in our dog's behavior since we started training at Positivie Pooch and are looking forward to starting our next level of training there!
