(More) My husband and I would like to give you an extra thank you beyond the score on the survey we completed. You truly helped make our remodeling job a great deal more tolerable than it could have been. As you can remember, we had many small snags along the way, but you seemed to straighten things out each time. As a result, I have the kitchen I could only have dreamed of¿ everything is PERFECT! Also, I would like to recognize our salesman, Lou Fore. He was a big help to us in a lot of ways too. He really went out of his way right up to the end to see that everything did go the way we had planned. We are truly grateful to him too. I will always recommend Sears Home Improvements to everyone who asks about our beautiful kitchen or talks about having home improvements made. I have been a customer of Sears for 35 years and have never been disappointed in the products I have purchased or the service I have received. Thank you SEARS. (Hide)

Cabinetry carpenters and contractors are hard to find in our area. We called to schedule appointments but they were so far booked, we almost gave up the idea. Then Sears sent us a card to schedule a free estimate appointment and we decided we would see what they had to offer. At first we were skeptical because we have always shopped at ¿high end¿ stores to get quality items. We thought of Sears as a ¿medium end¿ type of store, thus making us a bit worried about the service, and most importantly the quality of workmanship that would come from a kitchen make over, done by Sears. The salesman and the measure man were both very pleasant men and they seemed to know what they were doing. Unfortunately they explained Sears was not doing a remodel job but a resurfacing job, so some of my requests could not be granted. I realized I was not in a position to be upset, as Sears was the only way I could get my kitchen done this year. Scheduling our job was not a smooth experience, but I was promised to get the best installer to handle the job. I happily am writing to tell you, they did just that¿ the installer, they sent, was Randall Branch. This man was very impressive and changed my mind about getting quality work from Sears. Mr. Branch, was very knowledgeable, very skilled and customer oriented, not to mention a perfect gentleman. I felt Mr. Branch worked with and treated us, like he was a private contractor in business for himself, and knew his reputation and future depended on the quality and the workmanship he performed for us. He did not act or work like a man who was hired by Sears to do yet another kitchen job. When we had questions, he answered them. He even asked me, a question regarding placement of a shelf that made me very happy. If he would have put the shelf in the way I originally thought I wanted it, in the long run I would not have liked the results. When he was finished, and I did a final inspection, I found his work to be without a doubt, the best workmanship I have ever seen. I have had a number of contractors do work for me in the past, and I always found some minor flaw or two, but NONE with this job. Mr. Branch, worked hard and knew what he was doing, thus making me change my mind about the kind of work one could expect from Sears. Thanks to your salesman and measure man for knowing WHO was the best installer you had, and thank you for making it possible to send your best installer to do our job. We were and still are very impressed! Mr. Branch made our day and was great advertisement for the quality of work one can obtain from Sears. (Hide)
