(More) I am one of the thousands of groomers at petsmart and I would like to tell the public that although the company means well and trains its grooming associates to practice strict safety policies, there are ALOT of groomers out there that are unskilled, sloppy and given way too many appointments in one day to groom dogs safely. And yes, the cleanliness is much to be desired at most of the stores...
The company pressures its petstylists and grooming salon managers to maintain a weekly sales plan and it's all about sales and how many dogs groomers can groom in one week. Most of the groomers are just "production line" stylists and care more for the money rather than putting out quality grooms. On the upside, if you go to a petsmart salon and like a particular groomer, more often than not, that groomer is treating your dog like their own and will try harder to provide you with a quality service. STICK WITH HIM OR HER!!! (Hide)
