We just recently had a new Learning Experience center open here in Merrimack NH. We visited the center before it opened for business and found the facility and all we were told to be most promising. So we enrolled my grandson on the spot. It turned... (More) We just recently had a new Learning Experience center open here in Merrimack NH. We visited the center before it opened for business and found the facility and all we were told to be most promising. So we enrolled my grandson on the spot. It turned out he was their first enrolled student and all was great for the first couple of weeks. Now a few months later we're finding that the capabilities of the limited staff are leaving a lot to be desired. Now Iżm not saying my grandson is an angel but nothing you wouldnżt expect a preschool staff to be able to handle, we are getting calls almost every other day at work to come and pick up my grandson because they claim they cannot handle him. It seems to me that if they had put qualified personnel on the payroll in the first place these issues might not be happening. So unless you child is perfect and does not require guidance and structure I would not recommend The Learning Experience Merrimack NH. (Hide)

They promised music and Spanish programs which they have not delivered yet. The new thing is they have part time or on call teachers so they don't have to pay them full time. They continually run out of supplies. The corporate facilities are very mismanaged. When you call to give them feedback, they don't want to hear it. (Hide)

The school is always clean and decorated beautifully with the childrens artwork. The phonics program is wonderful I was so happy to see them reading in the PreSchool 2 class. Administration is always on site and completely approachable. They always make me feel that my children are important to them. I would reommend this school to anyone with children. (Hide)

I feel that the administration and the teachers and staff really care about my child and his development. The curriculum is top notch and with the Make Believe Boulevard, I never feel like my son is stuck in the same room all day long. The school is flexible to my schedule and the cost is not prohibitive and below similar schools, such as The Goddard School. Best of all, my son just loves going to school every day and can't wait until the weekend is over to go back! (Hide)

They tell you everything you want to hear just so they can get your money but never deliver on anything. The director could care less. She avoids situations when brought to her attention, the classrooms would be over crowded, and they never had enough staff on head. I wish I had read these reviews before I wasted all my money sending him there! If I had to rate it I would give it a negative 1000 to the second power but since I have to give it a star I give it a 1. (Hide)

My 4 yrs old daughter love to go there. She love the way it is decorated, all the colorful atmosphere and loving and caring teachers. I love there curriculum as well. works great for me ...:)- a happy mom.

My wife and I sent my daughter there for two days. We did NOT allow her back on the third day. The first two days she was there she was injured both days and they did not inform us. (More) My two kids have been with the Learning experience in Pennington for the past two years and it's the best decision my husband and I have made. The teachers are loving, caring and friendly. They center is always clean and well maintained. The director and business manager are very friendly and keep you well informed of everything happening with your children. Their curriculum and enrichment programs are great. Even the summer camp activities are fantastic. What more can we ask for? I read some of the other reviews and I can say for sure the Learning experience at Pennington does not fit the descriptions below. With their strict quality control I can't imagine they would allow the quality of any of their centers to be poor.Double thumbs up to this childcare center. (Hide)

(More) Be forewarned that they will tell you just about anything to get you to join this center but they rarely follow through. First of all their are cameras in the rooms that can be viewed from the directors office. Problem is that the office is rarely occupied except by support staff. Second of all they cut corners and skimp at every opportunity so although you are paying high prices your child isn't always getting the best or even the second best in many cases. The place looks clean but if you dig a bit deeper you will see that there is much to be desired. Staff doesn't stick around for long so once your child gets a routine established with one care giver they are soon gone. No center is perfect and no one expects this one to be perfect either but as parents and customers we should at least be given higher priority over trying to save a few pennies. (Hide)

No soap in the dispensers, They use food prep gloves instead of the latex gloves for diaper changing, they don't use bleach to clean instead use a blue liquid and they are try to save on papers so when they copy things such as class list for holidays the lists are barely 3 inches long. They have a high staff turn over. Alot of them don't have much child care experience in speaking with them. The operator of this facility is rarely around. (More) When I took my baby to the Learning Experience, I felt that that the place seemed a bit cold, but I chalked it up to its being so new that it didn't have time to make itself cozy. With the cameras in the classrooms, I assumed she would be safe, and I thought it would be a great place. The first day, she was happy when I left, but then cried and wouldn't eat. No one called to inform me that wouldn't eat. I found out when I called later in the day and went to pick her up immediately. Day 2, she came home with food and boogies caked on her face. On the third day, she started to cry hysterically when I dropped her off. I got a bad feeling, and waited till she had calmed down a bit before leaving. That night when she got home, I changed her and found two nickel-sized red marks on her hip in her diaper area. There was also a fairly deep scratch. None of the several people who cared for her could explain the marks, so we withdrew her. (Hide)
