(More) Two years ago, I signed all of my rights for recourse over to the Center. I had the surgery, I couldn't see after the surgery as well as before. I kept going back thinking that my eyes would clear up. But, they didn't! I was even made an appointment to have the surgery corrected. I got home and thought about it and cancelled the appt. It didn't seem prudent to let the same guy who messed my eyes up do another surgery.
About a year ago, I gave up and asked for a prescription and got glasses. They didn't seem to help much. I now can wear reading glasses to read and for the computer. I do watch and can see TV with no glasses, if I am within 10' of the set. I was given a card stating that I had had Lasik Surgery and now able to drive without glasses. I could drive, but don't feel confident enough to drive out of my immediate neighborhood. Yes, I am "Legal to Drive", but that doesn't mean that I'm safe!.  (Hide)
