I called Kevin Collett Heating and Cooling because he came very highly recommended from a friend. I had Dial One out... (More) I called Kevin Collett Heating and Cooling because he came very highly recommended from a friend. I had Dial One out here prior to that and they told me I needed a new air conditioning unit. The price they gave me? 2 months salary! A trusted friend told me to call Kevin, that he gave free estimates and second opinions so I called him. He came out that next morning and guess what? A wire was unhooked, that's all. One little wire that it took him 5 minutes to hook back up!!! Dial One didn't even find it, for all I know - they unhooked it because it still worked before they came!! They tried to get me for 2 months of hard work and Kevin didn't even charge me anything since it only took him 5 minutes!!! I have recommended Kevin to some of my other friends and they have all been satisfied. One of them needed a new AC and he charged half of what the other guys quoted her!! Dial One has good commercials but that's all. I'll stick with the honest guy who didn't try to fleece me!! (Hide)

To make a very long story short Kevin pulled a no show not once but TWICE. After the first no show I called and asked why I had not heard from him. He was very apologetic and told me someone would be out that day and return my call in the next hour to tell me what time they would be coming. I never heard from Kevin or anyone that works for Kevin Collett again. So twice he promised to come out and never showed or called. I have two coworkers who both need their AC serviced and had asked me to let them know who I found and whether I would recommend them. I could have given Kevin two more customers. Apparently the AC business must be booming in this bad econonmy because Kevin certainly does not care about the business. I wasted my day waiting for this guy to send someone out as promised and he never showed or called. (Hide)
