They were less expensive by far but broke furniture without telling us and we only discovered it when we were unpacking and reassembling. I think it really depends on the team doing your loading as to whether they are careful or not. The central administration is not well organized. I called and called to get the final invoice amount for my employer (who was paying and needed to issue a PO). No one ever returned by call until late Friday before the movers were to come unload at which time they we calling me for verification my employer would pay. The woman on the phone did not have the final total bill amount so even with rushing around trying to find someone who was still there, I could not get a reissued PO. On the unload day, the driver had to make lots of calls to get authorization to unload and it was only given after I explained my frustration to the supervisor. They also charged me an extra month for storage and I had to call and get back (Hide)

After moving 12 times in 25 years we thought we knew what to expect from movers. However, it was entirely a different story with JK. The crew worked diligently and exceeded our expectations. From start to finish JK is a great organization. I would highly recommend them to anyone moving near or far. (Hide)
