The Vet was very good 5 years ago but seems to be going in a very bad direction. miss diagnosed an easy call which made my dog suffer greatly. I could tell he had an ear infection. always scratching his ears and moaning/whining. the strong odor was filling up the room after the dog was there for some minutes. the doc, just checked it, after "Forcing them" to check. still couldn't smell the strong room filling odor and scooped the darkest wax out of his ears i had ever seen, didnt look at it any further just said how normal it is and threw it away.Which had my dog almost a full week of waking up in middle sleep yelping and scratching in pain. when we brought him again, the doc still didn't want to give medicine. after pushing. finally exam ed his ears and found out that he had a nasty ear infection.We also had a Surgery that was cancelled for no reason the day before after being led on and told everything would be fine.

Worst experience ever! I had dropped off my Chihuahua and my son's mini pug for grooming They called to say the Pug had scratched her eye while getting nails trimmed and they were sending medicine home for it. The SCRATCH looked like someone hit her eye with a tool. After treating it for 6 weeks, several trips back ( which they wanted to charge me for ) they came to the conclusion her eye was not going to heal and would need to be removed. I ended up turning her over to Buffalo Small dog and Pug rescue because we could not afford the cost of removal. However GIH did offer to put her down cheaply, she was only 4!! I would not take my worst enemy there !!! After 20 plus years as a customer this is how you get treated?

I recently put my pet down at this facility. This decision is never an easy one for anyone, but the staff was great to me and made my decision and the process much easier. Dr. Kelver was great. She came in the room to assure me that this was the best decision. I had to sign paperwork, and the office manager came into the room, went over everything, and gave me all of the cremation prices. She was very caring during my hard time, as was everyone there.

I had an issue earlier this weekend for their boarding services. I called to talk to someone, and let me tell you how amazing their staff is. Morgan, Ashley, Rochelle, and Mandi were so helpful and their consideration and kindness blew me away. It made up for the issue that I had. Yes, I can see where it can be expensive, but they have a well trained staff and a beautiful facility. I know my pets will be taken care of all the time here. I have been a client here for 25 years, and I have never been happier with the staff than I am now. There is a new manager, Shannon who is amazing. She is so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. If I ever have a problem, I call and talk to her, and she helps me out. I am so glad she took over as manager!
