0This is by far my best seafood restaurant. I live in PG Co and my family are so tired of me dragging them there, but when get there they are just as happy and satisfied as I am.

The crab cakes are great....be sure to get the double platter and take one home ! If you like oysters get the stuffed oysters...six huge servings... Service is always friendly and prompt............Our favorite seafood restaurant...i

Excellent Crab Cakes and they are very large. But, they are a must eat!! The place is crowded and a local favorite. Do expect to wait before eating.
This is the best seafood place in the Maryland. A must have crabcake. You will not be dissapointed
Crowded and not very organized, however the food was tasty
I made reservations for a party of 8. Upon my arrival, they said they did not see my name on the list. They were so kind and very busy. The young lady asked me to wait and she would do her best to accommodate me. I waited and not only did she get my party a table, we all sat together and the wait for our food was not long at all. I recommend eating here without hesitation.

- The original G&M Restaurant was founded in 1974 as a neighborhood pizza shop. The old pizza shop evolved into a casual family restaurant over the years to include a number of dining rooms, as well as a lounge. A minor renovation occurred in 1993 when the business changed hands. While the restaurant may have looked a little different, the emphasis on high quality meals, served in generous portions at reasonable prices continued. Since 1993, word of mouth brought the G&M name to the top of many food lovers lists for having great food and a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. Most notably, people from all over Maryland, and the continental United States, have recognized our crab cakes as being the best that Maryland has to offer. Since 1999, G&M crab cakes have won countless awards (see Reviews section) from up and down the east coast in magazines, newspapers and radio shows. In 2001, G&M started offering seafood and crab cakes online as mail order items. Demand for these items has skyrocketed over the years. Through thorough research and development packaging was developed to enable customers in all 50 states to receive fresh Maryland crab cakes overnight. In early 2009, every piece of the building was redesigned and brought up to date to include a technologically advanced kitchen and preparation area, larger dining rooms and a dual level lounge area. The business was never shut down in the year and a half that it took to complete this major renovation project. The main goal was to create a more efficient building to better serve the thousands of patrons that come through the doors every week. For over 30 years, G&M has stood for consistent, quality meals with top notch service. With the support of loyal customers and the wonderful neighboring community, the G&M family looks forward to welcoming new faces for many years to come.
