General Info

About Emig Mansion Located in the quaint village of Emigsville in South Central Pennsylvania, this skillfully restored 19th century mansion provides the perfect setting for gracious hospitality. The home is resplendent with exquisite leaded and stained glass windows, intricate molding, original parquet floors and elegant marble and tile work. Built in 1810, The Emig Mansion is decorated with antiques and furnishings authentic to the period. It is the ideal location for weddings, receptions, private parties, gatherings, family reunions, seminars and meetings. Visitors to the Emig Mansion will first come upon the old-fashioned grace of a wrap-around front porch, complete with vintage furniture from the famous Hahn House. The Victorian elegance of the porch overlooks a picturesque vintage pond and is accentuated by more than an acre of beautifully wooded grounds. On the inside, the Dining Room stretches the entire width of the house with a distinctive rounded glass window in the front and a stained glass masterpiece at the back. The entire room is surrounded by hand-carved Honduran mahogany. In between the two windows is an incredible table that seats twenty-five people comfortably on red velvet Victorian-style chairs. The Emig Dining Room is the perfect setting for everything from rehearsal dinners to family gatherings to private business meetings, lunches and dinners. Located directly off the dining room is the elegant wood-paneled Library with its marble fireplace and original antique molding. The Library is the perfect area for socializing with friends and family, and break-out rooms for seminars and business meetings. The original pocket doors off the foyer reveal unique his and hers parlors reminiscent of yesteryear in their Victorian elegance and detail. These two connected rooms are nearly mirror images of one another, complete with two matching fireplaces and a player piano that the guests are encouraged to enjoy.

Shary and Wade made us feel right at home. They respected our privacy. Meals were fantastic. The price was comparable to long term stays at local hotels. The rooms were spacious and met our needs. Staying here for 3 months has been a wonderful experience we won't soon forget!

My husband and I were given a 25th anniversary party at the mansion by my mother. Shary, the owner, was very helpful to us and gave us several excellent ideas for our event. She made every effort to make our day special for us and was always pleasant when communicating with her. Shary recommended a caterer that provided excellent food and a delicious cake. The mansion is very close to Interstate 83 which is another reason why we chose this location since many of our guests were traveling from northern PA. I would recommend the mansion for this type of event without any reservations.
