Heres the bottom line, the company does good things but the leadership is poor. I worked for this company for 2 years and was a supervisor. Sure they do good things for the community but at the expence of their employees. The company has a high turn-around rate because they work you to death. They dont care about your family issues, school hours, travel, etc... If you get employed by this company then they expect you to eat, breathe, and devote yourself to them. If you dont then you are a outcast and treated as such. So if your a property owner then, sure, hire these guys. If your a person looking for a job with them....run away and look somewhere else, its not worth the headache and grief they WILL put you through.

I'm an Accredited Property Manager & normally wouldnt respond to a posting. However, I feel it quite necessary. Before hiring CIS, my properties were losing money due to vandalism, property damage and area thugs that were hanging out making residents afraid. Now, with CIS Officers handling these issues. irate residents don't storm into my office. With CIS, there's a drastic reduction in problem areas. Occupancy stays up and residents tell me how happy they are. Officers keep me informed and together we resolve issues quickly. The former employee who stated CIS charges too much obviously hasnt managed property. You get what you pay for. I'd rather pay a bit more for the best security and CIS is just that. Thugs don't intimidate my residents and I can now afford improvements that aren't damaged. That alone is a testament that speaks volumes about CIS and the quality of the security services they provide!

Talk about sour grapes. You obviously weren't a fit for CIS and didn't get their principles. Good thing you left. I was a CIS employee for over 1 1/2 yrs. I left for a great career opportunity CIS prepared me for. I had worked for other security agencies. Talk about low pay, lack of concern for employees & bad equipment. I won't bash them the way you did CIS but most other agencies just want warm bodies. That attitude is what has kept the security industry down. CIS has raised the image up. Check with the SO & PD the statistics speak for themselves. Nobody is pumping up the numbers. One property decided they didn't need our services anymore then begged us to come back a month later when their crime rate sky rocketed. I saw CIS cancel clients that weren't a good fit. I'm sure that cost CIS but I learned it wasn't always about profit. Because of their Christams Toy Drive over 200 kids get presents that wouldn't get any. Lke I said you obviously didn't get it so good thing you moved on

As the saying goes, "you get what you put in". I have worked with this agency for over a year and have never seen a more admirable group of people! If you did work for this company you should understand that by reaching out to our communities, we make that difference! By anchoring ourselves heavily within the community in every way we can, it provides the residents with a sense of morale and power that they need in order to take back their community from crime. Every employee plays an important role in this goal! The difference we make is evident not just in our reporting, but also in seeing children playing outside where before there were none. It's from talking to resident's who were once afraid to even acknowledge their neighbor and from knowing that our employees are provided with the equipment and training that they need to stay safe, communicate efficiently, and provide stability in an environment where there was none. One can only succeed in a goal they believe in!

I have worked for this company and they are simply a highly decorated security company that charges too much and pays their employees too little. The only officers worth anything are the lowest ones on the food chain. They only promote those who promote the company and not those protecting the property. They make their employees market the company by speaking with management, passing out buisness cards, stickers, and pamphlets. They increase reporting at properies whose contracts are up for renewal and lower the reporting for contracts that have recently been taken over. This makes the companies believe that CIS has made a difference rather than realizing that they are not any better than any other company.
