Called 2 request a service call after reading it would cost $59 for them 2 come out. They informed me it was NOT $59 but instead was $79 for the service call. They informed me it was NOT $59 but instead was $79 for the service call. I asked how they charge, ie. by hour, half hour or by job? The man told me after confirming w/another man in the background that they charge by the hour. I asked how much per hour? Again after speaking w/the man in the background, I was told, "Well it depends on stuff." I said, "So you charge by the job?" He told me "No, by the hour." When I asked him how they decide what to charge, I was again informed that it depends on "stuff". What stuff??? No clue because I told them I would find someone else. Very unprofessional & uneducated seeming. Could be wrong but I don't want my address or the neighborhood I live in 2 be a deciding factor in how much they charge me. They already jacked up the price of their service call w/ bait & switch from their advertisement. $79 commits me 2 using them cuz I can't afford another service fee!  (Hide)

Told us on the phone how to get ac going until he arrived. Arrived when he said he would, fixed the problem quickly and THOROUGHLY. VERY satisfied.

Was able to tell us over the phone how to get our A/C working temporarily until he could get there to fix problem. Was very informative, quick, professional, personable, and reasonable.

It's 3pm on a sunday and it's very hot outside and the AC at one of my rental units is out... I called my normal company and they didn't pick up or return my call... I called the 866 number for Coolray and the owner of the company picked up! If the work is honest, quick, and at a good price - Coolray will be my new AC company.  (Hide)

Of the hundreds of businesses available, CoolRay was the ONLY one available to meet my needs at the BEST price I ever heard. It has never heated or cooled properly despite all efforts on my part to make the house as efferent as possible. I called Coolray Heat and Air to have my A/C checked out. They came out and looked at my unit and not only was it in bad shape, but they informed me that it was under sized. They got me a quote on a new Trane 16XLI system sized to my house and boy was I surprised at how little the bill was going to be. They installed it in a professional manner the next day. My house has never been as cool and comfortable and my power bill got under control. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.  (Hide)

I called Coolray and expected that I would not hear from them for several hours, imagine my surprise when I was contacted within an hour! They listened as I explained the problem with my air conditioner and asked me several questions. The... (More) I called Coolray and expected that I would not hear from them for several hours, imagine my surprise when I was contacted within an hour! They listened as I explained the problem with my air conditioner and asked me several questions. The gentleman I spoke with then offered suggestions that I could do to get my AC up and running! IT WORKED!!! I could not believe that they would tell me how to fix it myself! I have had AC companies in the past that just took my information, came out and had it fixed in two minutes with no parts and charged me a fortune! I had them come out and check the unit anyway. It was a COOL wait as my AC was running while I waited for them to arrive. They arrived on time and checked my unit out completely. My AC was doing great and the service man complimented me on my repairs. He made additional suggestions that would save me money on my power bill. I had him do some of them and was very pleased with the bill. I'll think I have found a new AC Company.  (Hide)

When I called Coolray they were able to get someone out in a couple of hours. I found out we needed a new... (More) When my air conditioner went out I called some other companies and it was going to take a couple of days to get someone out to diagnose it. When I called Coolray they were able to get someone out in a couple of hours. I found out we needed a new air compressor. They ordered and picked it up that day and were out the next day to install it. I couldn't beleive how fast they took care of me. My house is cooler than it has ever been and even better my electric bill is sooo much lower.  (Hide)
