Internet service worked approx. 20% of the time the first month. Next four months, it worked, but had only 10% of the advertised download speed. In the fifth month, the internet couldn't connect for four days straight. I'm canceling Comcast service. Customer service people are nice and as helpful as they can be, but you need them to fix things constantly. Absolutely terrible infrastructure here, and Comcast punishes people who don't watch the idiot box. (Hide)

Unfortunately Comcast is the only provider with high speed internet in my neighborhood. They know it and their rates are sky high. Last July I moved to Long-Island NY where their subsidiary, Cablevision, has tough competition with Verizon's FIOS. I have three services for only 60.00$ with free installation. For the equivalent service in Kirkland WA I was asked to pay around 150$/month + 99$ installation! I would rate their service below 0! (Hide)

I have to use Comcast for my business computer at home as my employer will use nothing else. This boggles my mind as it is the worst service ever. This boggles my mind as it is the worst service ever. If I am not kicked off the internet it slows down to speeds worse then dial up. I am on the internet all day for my work and this does nothing but slow down my progress. These guys suck. (Hide)

Comcast continues to bill after service is terminated and another internet carrier has provided service for 90 days. Unfortunately, Comcast became my provider again when an internet provider went bankrupt. Comcast cut service without notice and is now requiring I use their router. The Comcast installer (and supervisor) arrived after 5 days of no service but did not bring new router with them, so there will be a follow-up appointment. (Hide)

Am on day 15 of no cable and day 11 of no internet. They were out 5 days ago to have a look. They always blame ME when anything is down. Horrible customer service - they treat me like I'm an idiot, cancel appointments without warning or notification (I only find out when they haven't shown up, I call Customer Service and they tell me I'm wrong about the appointment date and time and proceed to tell me the new one which is NEVER when we're at home...so I have to take time off work or wait several more days for a time I AM at home), are always late when they DO deign to show up for one. Then it gets passed off to 'maintenance' at which time Customer Service can no longer give an update on what's going on. Astronomical prices, especially for something that never works! I have to call at least once a week to report an outage - this has become my new part-time job. Avoid them!! (Hide)
