Bill's professional expertise behind the wheel literally started rolling years ago as he logged tens of thousands of miles driving large, commercial trucks and Class A vehicles. In later years, while working full time, Bill pursued and completed a degree in Sociology. He also did part-time counseling and, while persuing a Masters in Social Work, a friend invited him to become a driving instructor part-time at an established driving school. Suddenly, a new road opened up for Bill. He genuinely enjoyed being an instructor, interacting with his students, helping them overcome fears while learning how to become safe, alert, responsible drivers. He went on to teach at another driving school operated by a retired California Highway Patrol Officer, where he gained new perspectives on driving education while developing his own skills. In August of 2005, Bill opened his own school, becoming the principal owner/operator/instructor of Bills Driving School.Less
