Stayed at the Redondo Beach, CA location. Room was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

I stayed at the best western hotel best western motor inn in Bowling green Ky. 2/18/06 in room 130.
There was apparent water damage in the room with wallpaper pealing off the walls, drawer front to the desk falling off, floors on vacuumed, rotted door frames to the bathroom, dirty underside on the toilet seat, refrigerator had had on exploded soft... (More) There was apparent water damage in the room with wallpaper pealing off the walls, drawer front to the desk falling off, floors on vacuumed, rotted door frames to the bathroom, dirty underside on the toilet seat, refrigerator had had on exploded soft drink that hadn't been cleaned up, one of the beds squeaked so bad you couldn't sleep on it and the other was broken the box spring was just setting on the wood frame with 1 inch angle iron holding the box springs up with 3-4 inches of sharp metal hanging out each side. This is a negligent hazard to guests, the phone did not work properly. It was a total mess. I have never stayed in such a nasty room in my life and payed $65 and some change for this room. I was asked at checkout if everything was alright and explained it was not and told the person of the condition this room was in. I was not offered a refund or adjustment or nothing or even an apology. I will never stay with best western again unless I receive a full refund. Michael Sullivan (Hide)

Forest City has the most wonderful people I've ev... (More) We made reservations the month before Katrina, to which we had to call every day to change, and they gave us no problems. We stayed here during Katrina, and were treated kindly and with much respect. Forest City has the most wonderful people I've ever met, and this hotel is more than willing to take you pets, all of them. They also provide free breakfast, but for the evacuees also provided free dinner many nights. They organized a clothing drive as well, and constantly had current information for the evacuees. They have a pool, refrigerators, microwaves, and online access in the lobby. Though not a new hotel, they made us feel at home. This is why I plan to stay here each time I come in town... which will be a few times a year, as the people in Forest City are great! (Hide)

None of the above. Met none of my expectations for what a hotel should be.
The bed was like a trampoline and the sheets would not stay on the mattress. There was only 1 washcloth in the bathroom. The white towels were stained. There was food under the bed. The white towels were stained. There was food under the bed. My husband and I had to take turns sleeping in the chair because it was impossible to sleep in the bed. The pillows were so large they hurt my neck. When we complained we were given a $25.00 discount, but I don't think we should have been charged at all. The hotel was the Best Western Kenwood Inn in Cincinnati, OH and we stayed there on Christmas Eve 2005. (Hide)
