American Family Insurance

I went to 3 other insurance agencies to get a quote on my auto insurance before I went to American Family insurance. The secretaries at 2 of them seemed to busy for me when I went in. I didn't feel very welcome. And the 3rd one was downright rude.... (More) I went to 3 other insurance agencies to get a quote on my auto insurance before I went to American Family insurance. The secretaries at 2 of them seemed to busy for me when I went in. I didn't feel very welcome. And the 3rd one was downright rude. Then I went to the Shannon Lovato Agency and you'd a thought I was a favorite uncle returning home from a long vacation! The secretary jumped outof her chair with a smile and reach out her hand to greet me with a big smile on her face. When I met the agent Shannon I was even more impressed. She was very helpful to me by giving me a quote for my car right then and there. Not only was this a friendly lady, but I believe they really cared about me and my insurance. Shannon gave me a good quote, a glass of tea, and I was happy I went to her agency. I should have gone there in the first place! Go to Shannon Lovatos agency first everyone!  (Hide)

Recently had a claim and the service was fantastic. I was able to speak to someone 24 hours a day and my agent was available on Sunday! I would recommend American Family to anyone. He left it to me to deal with the claims office, in another... (More) We had a tornado that devastated our town. American Family called it a "wind and hail storm." It took nearly an entire year for the agent come to my house and he did nothing to help. He left it to me to deal with the claims office, in another state. They just kept changing their demands and kept stalling. Then they told me it was too late. I got nothing and lost thousands. I paid them for over 15 years and this was my first claim. I'm not paying them another penny.  (Hide)

I was in a car accident and my American Family Insurance agent did everything from putting in the claim for me to having a rental car ready for me before I even got home! The people in the claims department were also very helpful and... We had extensive water damage inside our house and American Family Insurance Adjuster came out and paid the inside, however the roof was not included. A quick fix of a tarp was put on the roof. This is all American Family Insurance will pay.... I had 4 roofers come out and stated that I had shingle damage and needed a new roof and american family did nothing for the roof but did give a modest sum for interior damage

I have had my insurance with American Family for about a year now and they have good rates and great people working for them. My agent is Howard Simons in Lakewood, OH and he's a great agent. I say, give them a call!

I recommend American Family Insurance. The customer service that I receive from my agent (Luke Shafer) is second to none! Thank you Luke!!!!!!

I am tired of always knowing more than my agent and getting false information. Also, if the website goes down and you have a payment scheduled for that time, they lose it and you get a penalty and have to work hard to prove you had a payment... Also, if the website goes down and you have a payment scheduled for that time, they lose it and you get a penalty and have to work hard to prove you had a payment scheduled..
