I cannot be more grateful with the staff, starting with Mr. Benny my instructor to Mr. Yakov my extern coordinator. With their help I was able to pass my board exam, get licensed & get hired at Providence Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills while completing my externship hours. I've now been working for over 4 months work in an Optomology office dispensing glasses, now expanding and opening our own lab. Since I am NCLE certified, I also get trained by the optometrist in fitting & dispensing contact lenses. All this wouldn't have been possible without the help off ACC. With all I have achieved, all that awaits is my graduation ceremony this November at the Shrine Auditorium. I now have a bright future ahead of me, but most importantly a career. (Hide)

(More) I highly recommend American Career College of Los Angeles located on Vermont and Rosewood because this school has changed my life and put me on the path that I would have NEVER dreamed of! When I went there in 2009 I was working retail here and there, a single mom, and living in a livingroon with my baby. I was financialy and emotionally drained and looking for a way up in life. I completed the medical billing coarse in 2009 and have been working ever since! I recently decided to broaden my horizen and now with two years experience under my belt I applied to 2 positions and recieved an offer from BOTH jobs! I am more stable than I would have ever dreamed of three years ago. I decided to take the job in Beverly Hills and I begin Monday! I had to write a review because this school was the bridge I needed to get to my dreams! My teacher Mrs. Chihinian was the person who made sure I crossed that bridge. Through finding a home to getting my van back she was right there! Thanks ACC! MHunter (Hide)

So if you don't have the determination then don't waste your time. it is a fast paced program so it's very hard but as long as you stay on top of it you're on the right track. I can't wait until i complete my program. But overall good school even though its pretty pricey :/ but keep in mind you receive a grip of brand new books and the supplies you use are up to date. I passed American Career College on the freeway, so I remembered the name and gave them a call. Since I don¿t like the sight of blood and my typing skills are excellent, I decided to enroll to become a Medical Biller. That decision changed my life. American Career College helped me get an externship at Pinnaccle Lien Services and I was hired upon graduating! Although it can be challenging, I can honestly say that I love my job.¿ Timothy Reade (Hide)

(More) Working for Lindora now as Progam Asst while looking ¿I had made my decision to attend American Career College while I was still in high school ¿ I did my homework and looked into three schools before enrolling. I¿ve always been interested in the body and organs, so becoming a Surgical Technician felt like the right path for me ¿ especially since it¿s hands on and I knew I wouldn¿t be bogged down with paperwork. I¿m still finishing up my externship, which is in Sherman Oaks, a long drive from Rancho Cucamonga, but I am determined. I wake up at 4:30 a.m. every weekday to get to work and will continue to do so until my 15 weeks are over ¿ working hard feels great when you have a goal.¿ Sandy Stillman (Hide)

I had been a truck driver up until that point and knew that I wanted a real career. My neighbor is a Pharmacy Technician, so it was something that I had heard about and when I began my externship at Coram Healthcare, I knew I had made the right decision. It¿s a great feeling to be State-Certified Pharmacy Technician, and I can¿t wait until I am certified nationally in the next month or so!¿ Brandon Horstmeyer (Hide)

The medical field had always interested me and after seeing a commercial on television for American Career College, I gave them a call as soon as my baby was a year old. I decided to pursue a degree as a Medical Assistant because I like working with people and it¿s the best decision I¿ve made. I hope to continue my education and see how far it can take me!¿ Jessica Vazquez (Hide)

Atienza, Maryanne Joy Tolentino Atienza, LVN ¿We are sisters who are one year apart. Both of us knew we wanted to go into a profession that was secure and we knew we would be guaranteed jobs. Although we graduated high school a year apart, it was a blessing because it gave one of us the opportunity to spend a year at a four-year college, where it was apparent that it would be a long, winding road to reach our goal. We had both relatives and friends who attended American Career College, so we looked into it and enrolled into the LVN program together. It was great because we were motivators for each other and since we¿re the best of friends, we were there to support each other. We¿re fairly confident that we would like to pursue full time positions at the hospitals where we performed our clinicals for three months ¿ at Veterans Hospital in Long Beach and Promise Suburban Hospital in Paramount. Although we¿ll be working in two different hospitals, we¿ll be doing what we love and won¿t be too far apart from each other.¿ (Hide)

(More) ¿I went from being a receptionist to working full time as a Dental Assistant at Molma Endodontist in Downey, and it¿s all because of American Career College. When I graduated from high school, I worked at a credit union and then took a position as a receptionist at a general clinic. It wasn¿t until I saw a commercial on television for American Career College that I decided to look into programs. I had a friend who graduated as a Medical Assistant in 2007, so I knew a little about the school. I kept my job as a receptionist and took classes at night. After spending 160 hours working in a Pediatric office for my externship, I felt confident and qualified to move on. A teacher at ACC referred me to a root canal specialist and I was hired full time after I graduated with my Dental Assisting degree! My ultimate goal is to become an Orthodontist, but for now, I really enjoy what I¿m doing.¿ Tammy Rodriguez (Hide)
