The marvelous employees explain everything at my level and don't make me feel stupid. I had a bad experience at a local plumbing supply when the counter person treated me like s - - t because I didn't know what a "Street L" was. Home Depot would never do that - they treat each customer like you are the only one and make sure all your needs are met. This is true whether you are spending a $1 on a silly special nut/bolt that you can't locate, or whether you are buying a special order door. No wonder they put other competitors out of business - they DO THE JOB and have good brands. Their return policy is very easy to follow and they don't hassle you for returning something that was incorrect. Way to go HOME DEPOT ! Tina (Stratham, NH)  (Hide)

Home Depot only uses the best HVAC Companies to install for them. Factory Approved and NATE Certified. Insured and Bonded. These other Bad Reviews are entered by jealous contractors.

Uses sub-contractors that perform sub-standard work to install their equipment. No customer service from Home depot if you have a problem. Terrible!

I HAVE USED HOME DEPOT TO INSTALL MY GUTTERS AND WINDOWS. THE SUBS DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. IN THE PAST I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY YELLOW PAGE CONTRACTORS HOWEVER HD STANDS BT THEIR WORK AND BACKS IT UP WITH A GUARANTEE, AND THEY WON'T BE OUT OF... Home Depot DOES hire sub contractors HOWEVER they are 100% backed by HOME DEPOT! They go threw in depth background check to even be able to represent HOME DEPOT! I LOVE HOME DEPOT! I have used Home Depot's At Home Services for many things around our house. They always use sub-contractors. These contractors must meet certain standards for Home Depot to use them, so I always feel safe that I can trust them. We have used Home... (More) I have used Home Depot's At Home Services for many things around our house. They always use sub-contractors. These contractors must meet certain standards for Home Depot to use them, so I always feel safe that I can trust them. We have used Home Depot for everything from putting in a new fence for us to helping us fix out horribly cracked driveway. We love them and will continue to use them. Home Depot Guarantees everything they do and that makes me feel safe!  (Hide)
