Yup thieves, my 4 year old security gate wasn't working right, The guy tried to sell me 2 batteries that I later saw... (More )
Yup thieves, my 4 year old security gate wasn't working right, The guy tried to sell me 2 batteries that I later saw online would be $25 each for $235 apiece and a transmitter for $300! I asked for the work estimate in writing on the invoice for the service call but he was very reluctant to do so for anyone else to see how outrageous his price was. HAving not make the sale, his boss called and offered to get him to come back and replace the batteries for $360. Next am had all the work done for $275 total ( 2 new batteries, servicing the motor and track). ( my transmitter was fine ) Real rip off artists, avoid!!! (Hide )
