Southern Utilities is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They have the most archaic systems and have no issue with inconveniencing their clients. Thanks to them requiring a physical copy of the house deed IN PERSON, I have no water in my new house...even though we came in the same day that the previous owners had paid through. If I didn't have to use them, I surely would not.

The customer service is non existent. The policies are not user friendly. This is the worst utility company I have ever had to deal with. I own multiple properties and never have issues with any other company

I can't believe that a company in this day and age refuses to have their company with an online service so that their customers can pay their accounts online! How archaic. When you have to go inside to pay your bill because the drive thru once again is closed, be prepard to be waited on by the slowest of the slowest. Even the postal clerks are faster than they are. I absolutely HATE dealing with this company due to nothing but a big inconvenience.

Customer service here is a joke, no one is on the same page, and can not make a payment any other way than driving up there. Hate this company if I had any other options I would not think twice about switching!! Have been told many times a payment wasn't made have to drive back up there to show my receipt, only to be told that they don't do hand written receipts?!!? Eventually they fix it but its never been hassle free.

This is the most inconsistent water company I've ever delt with. If you can use a different water company I highly suggest it!

Southern Utilities is by far the most inconvenient utility company I have EVER had the displeasure of being tied to! For someone who has to work hard to pay your utility bills, rent AND college tuition it's almost impossible to swing by during their open hours to pay the bill & when I do finally have a day off you can't even pay with your debit/credit card so I've either have lug around my check book or go by the bank for cash first.....PLEASE GET WITH THE TIMES & MAKE IT TO WHERE I CAN PAY ONLINE ANYTIME!!!!
