Our USPS delivery person drops packages over our fence instead of knocking or leaving a delivery notice. Yesterday they dropped over our fence a package containing an apple-cinnamon loaf of bread weighing 3 pounds. When I arrived home I had no idea there was a package in my yard, and let my dogs out into the yard as usual. One of my dogs ate this entire 3 pound loaf of bread and is now, the next morning, very very sick. Last week, a live wreath (in a box) was delivered the same way - by throwing it over our fence into our yard. Luckily, it was big and we saw it. My point is this: things like holly berries, apple seeds and chocolate are TOXIC to animals and can KILL them. I called the local branch (KINO 2051 North 13th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85705(520) 792-9220) to report these delivery practices, and the Delivery Manager had no response except to say that they would no longer throw packages over our fence.
