Hudson Mohawk Recovery Center, Inc. operates five NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services licensed treatment facilities for addiction throughout Rensselaer County, New York. There are Outpatient Clinics in Troy, East Greenbush and Hoosick Falls. Our services offer a continuum of care including both outpatient and residential programs ( Supportive Living ). We are the only outpatient addiction program in the county that offers both an Evening Intensive Program (9-10 hours/week) and a day treatment program (20 hours/week). In addition to the evaluation and treatment services, we offer three educational programs to the community, which include a NYS Drinking Driver Program, a Batterers Intervention Program and Educate Youth Program.Hudson Mohawk Recovery Center, Inc. (HMRC) was established in 1967 to treat adults with addiction problems. In 1975 Hudson Mohawk added adolescent services and further expanded services in 1978 to include children of alcoholics. Both were model programs for the State of New York. Since that time, Hudson Mohawk Recovery Center, Inc. has continued to expand its services and develop different sites throughout the County. Since 2007 the agency offers a supportive living housing program for adult males. Comprehensive evaluations for individuals & family members seeking services for a substance abuse problem. Evaluations also provided for individuals referred by a Court, Drinking Driving Program or DMV or other service providers. A variety of groups are offered on a weekly basis focusing on the various stages of abuse/dependency and recovery. The intensity of treatment is determined based on clinical need and a stage of change approach. Services range from 1x/week treatment to multiple sessions/week. Specialized services for adolescents and gender specific services for adults are available.Professional Staff include Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselors, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Master Level Clinicians, Social Workers and Medical Personnel (LPN, RN, and Consulting Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Physician).
