Highly recommended! The jeweler Tom is meticulous with his work. I had a custom piece made here and am in love with It! Couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish. The time involved and attention to detail was impressive. I've also had a few repairs done in the past, ranging from fixing a ring I broke in half to replacing some diamonds I had knocked out of a ring. The price was great and it was done in less than a week (the store in the mall quoted me 2-4 weeks and it would have to be mailed somewhere!) The merchandise selection is amazing as well. something for everyone. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This place is going downhill, I dropped off some watches to have batteries installed. Originally I was told they would be ready the next day, but I have done this before with them. Next they want me to pre pay to have the batteries installed ?? I tell them the watches are worth 4k like I am not going to pick them up. Anyhow I'm going on 48 hours waiting for my watches to be ready.. I would advise everyone to use a different jeweler...

Today was my first visit to this store and it is my last. The store was not busy, there was a small group of people {all related in some way}, one sales woman inquired, rather haphazardly, what I wanted and since it was batteries for a couple of watches she said it could not be done today and then turned me over to another woman who was not friendly and appeared annoyed. I thanked them for their time and said they were apparently too busy. There was NO friendly greeting when I came in and I was made to feel that what I wanted was not important enough even though I had a gold bracelet that required repair as well. Sales staff was rude, cold and unwelcoming.

I only wish I had the experience of others. I was fine with their helpfulness until it got into standing behind their workmanship and quotes. My wife had a diamond fall off here rind without banging it. When we went to MacKinnon, they charged us when other jewelers would stand behind their work. We were then concerned other bands of her ring had loose diamonds. Well after testing MacKinnon again found loose diamonds and charged us to report he 2 pieces.. again instead of backing up what I can only call shoddy work. On top of this they quoted one price then went to charge another (happened at original purchase as well).. but we did not let them get away with it. Bottom line.. BEWARE.. get quotes in writing and also ask them how they back up their work. If they don't say lifetime,, go elsewhere. I dealt with many jewelers over the years and never had someone not provided that level of service when it came to their work. .. Regards. One Unhappy Customer.

Its nice to have a family owned jewlery store so close to home. You definately see the difference compared to one of those chains you find in the malls
