My wife and I along with 3 other couples arrived approx. 8 PM on Monday evening Dec. 16th. Our server greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. She was VERY courteous and a happy person. A good waitress. 5 of us order the Lake Perch and fries basket. Fries were hot and with out any seasoning which is the way we like them. Cole slaw also very good. Now the not so nice news. The perch had a strong "fishy" flavor. VERY UNUSAL for Lake Mich. Perch. We order perch for the very mild flavor. Upon removing the hard crusted coating revealed a grey matter in the center and extending the total length of the fillet of which I never experienced with Lake Perch be for in my life, never, thus possibly adding to the "fishy" taste. I will say it was served hot. All 5 of us agreed that the State Street Grill is a restrarunt we won't be returning to. There are sooooo many good restrarunts in the TC to choose from with good food.

Wonderful food remarkably priced. Great staff! Change it up try setting at the bar for dinner.

Thursday nights is there NY Strip Steak dinner special. A 12 oz NY Strip, with baked potatoe and vegetable for only $7.95 plus tax. The is a great price plus the food is great only with a very nice facility.
