Michigan Green Consortium hosts the Spring 2013 Clean Up and Green Up event on Sunday, March 10, 2013. This community-wide free recycle, repurpose and reuse event, put on by Michigan Green Consortium, will be held from 9am until 3pm on the grounds of American Wastes recycling facility at 280 Hughes Drive in Traverse City. Local area residents are invited to bring difficult-to-recycle items, items that have salvageable components or materials, and items that can be repurposed or reused to one central location for collection. The upcoming Sunday, March 10th event is entirely free of charge for members of the community.
