Dr H. came in the room and reached for the dog who was sitting on my lap. Being frightened and protective, my dog gave a warning snap. Didn't come close to Doc's hand, yet the Doc preceded to repeat 3 times how aggressive this breed could be & strongly suggests dog-training. Admitting his error, her changed strategy & had no further incidents; HOWEVER, I was barraged with 30 minutes straight of sales pitches. I mean, I would have spent $500 if he had his way, ie, dog food only available from the vet. when asked to compare against my food, he couldn't. when asked how much I should feed a 5lb dog, he had to leave the office to read the bag; although he had the dog's medical history from the prev vet, he claimed one of the vacc was inferior & should be repeated (poss side effect: pain, but we'd be sent home w a pain killer). I told Doc I was so overwhelmed w/ the priority of sales pitches. (Hide)
