Treat renters like second class citizens We were in the process of switching companies, They picked up their tank without our knowledge and it still had 100 gal of propane in it that I paid for. The new company was coming out that day to pump it into the new tank, when they showed up it was gone. When I called Hilgy's they claimed the tank was empty. At least four people saw that their was still gas in that tank. Both my husband and I and the two drivers from the gas company we were switching to.

I agree with one of the reviews below, they change the rules to fit their need, and have no regard for their customers.

I just had Hilgy's come to my house in Eagle River and they did a great job getting my AC unit back up and running. I used to use a competitor but found these guys online and had them come out. The tech was very curteous and they charged a fair price. I'm having them come back to fill my LP tank next week! Thanks Hilgy's!

HORRENDOUS customer service. Non-existent customer service at all the branches. Rude, not-very-bright people answering their phones. The customer has absolutely no rights with Hilgy's. Their contract gets longer and longer with a list of rules that they go and change at their own whim. The drivers are nice but they quit because the office staff and management is so horrible. Everyone we talk to about them in the northwoods, hates them. Would be zero stars if this system didn't make you select one.

Hilgys gas company is the biggest rip off in the Northwoods. we have been doing business with them for 25 years and just got screwed by them. Any one doing business with them needs to stop asap before you get screwed too.....

Hilgy's gas company is the biggest rip off in the northwoods any one doing business with them needs to stop asap before they screw the heck out of you like they just did to us after 24 years of being their customer. They care for them selves only and the heck with their customers.
