Our family is from the Detriot area and we have been buying vehicles from Kistler for the past severla years now. When we learned that Mr. Jorgenson moved from Detriot to Toledo and purchased Kistler Ford; we followed. Altough we try to keep the "Buy Michigan" campaign going strong here at home we feel most comforatable buying our cars and trucks from Kistler. Salesman, Ed Wilcox showed extreme patience and understanding in helping us getting my Moither-in-Law into a new Excape. When we fell on a bit of hard times, the Finance Dept. was wounderful in helping us to purchase one of our lease veihicles. Although we dont' get down much for regular service, I do come in from time to time when my schedule aloows and I'm in the area and Frank Kovack and his Staff always take good care of my truck and me. been doing biz w/ kistler for years mostly on parts and service dept. they really do care about the customer which is rare today. im sure everybody has a bad experience everywhere sometimes but i thought it was fair to put a positive in the ratings as well

I called Kistler to make sure that I could purchase a vehicle (2009 Ford Fusion) 20min before they closed and they agreed knowing that I would be there long after closing. My sales person was not only in a hurry to get us out the door, she also spent no time going over the car. She did not inform us about sirus satellite that came free with the car for 6months and did not help us with the Sync features. These things would not normally be a problem but I purchased a 2009 Ford F-150 5months later from another dealership also a few minutes before closing. The service was, by comparison, no comparison. You would think that a diamond is beautiful until you hold it next to another that is flawless and it was certainly the case here. When I returned to Kistler with my new experience...it turns out that there was a problem with the Fusion receiving the signal for satellite and a problem with Sync. When asked why I never told them about the problem I asked why the sales person never found it.

I had repair work done on my car twice within one week due to two unfortunate encounters with animals as I live in a largely wooded area. Repair work was completed up to par. No complaints there. However, upon inspecting the work done, I found damage to the paint that was not there upon taking the car into the shop. It looked like someone dragged his tool across the paint on accident and never tried to fix it. First time I picked up the car I had a flat tire within hours as they broke the valve stem when filling it. Second time I picked up the car one of my turn signals didn't work. I thought this was due to a blown bulb. I replaced the bulb and it still didn't work. I found out after taking it to another shop that they failed to plug all the wires back in for the turn signals/headlights, etc. One thing they didn't manage to screw up was the cleaning of the vehicle. They even vacuumed the interior!
