(More) The decision to move my mother from standard assisted living to a memory care area was both scary and unplanned by me. Originally my mother was in the standard apartments, however the staff at Stone Ledge saw the need for her be in a more secured memory care unit and came to me with the details. The ease of the transition and her quality of life and happiness is incomparable now. This has been wonderful for me and my family. My mother¿s room is so home-y and the residents seem so cheerful. The staff keeps the interior doors open and they give a lot of one on one time, and have tons of group activities going on. With the roominess of the hallways and the lounging areas, I am not sure that my mom or many of the other residents are even aware that their unit is ¿secured¿. This place is first rate in my book.  (Hide)
