I would not recommend this place!
Our Mother has been living at Hearthstone for over a year now. She does not like it there and we will be moving her... (More) Our Mother has been living at Hearthstone for over a year now. She does not like it there and we will be moving her out soon. When she moved in we were told that roommates would be compatable. She has a roommate that needs alot of care and by no means are they compatable.She has a horrible odor in her room and we have complained and it is still there! It has been 4 months!If you try to get in after hours it takes a long time for someone to answer the door. It has been as long as 15 minutes!She has been overdosed, given the wrong meds, and not given her meds because they ran out!She complains about too many spices in the food.When she uses her call button it takes forever for someone to respond.When you call during the evening the phone rings and rings and rings!There is a large turnover of staff. There are new faces everytime you visit.Our Mother has told us she is very unhappy there and that she feels she is not getting the care she needs and we agree!  (Hide)
