My family and I were looking for something to do in the Poconos and we found a flyer for horse back riding. We took a chance for not knowing anything about the place. We had a great time. Everyone at the stables were very nice and caring. I would defiantly go back and refer others too. sincerely Dawn

Went for a horseback ride at Paradise Riding Stables in Mount Pocono with my wife and three children today. Upon our arrival, we were professionally greeted by a very friendly young lady named Deborah that helped us understand how rides are conducted and what to expect while on a ride. We decided on the 1hr ride and had the time of our lives with our guide, Carl. Took lots of pictures of the kids, deer & horses to remember this great day!! We will definitely return back to Paradise Riding Stables and highly recommend it!!!

Myself and group of friends rode here today and thought the staff was great very knowledgable and professional defiantly recommend to everyone visiting the poconos was never there when it was happy trails I just know we had a great time saw a bunch of deer and laughed and joked the while ride with Sean was sad when it ended will be back soon for sure AC crew

I was at this stable and met with the new owners they are doing a great job cleaning up and renovating, my family rode horses here in the past and I'm sorry to say it was very run down and messy in the time it was called happy trails (more like unhappy trails) during that time period, the Carson family used to do a great job with this facility and I think they would be happy with the way the new owners are running things needless to say me and my family where very pleased with the staff and oh yeah they actually bought all of happy trails old horses so don't let negativity keep you away from this beautiful place the only thing you need to beware of is not making a reservation when we where there it was very busy but the crew got us out on the trail right away anyways The Morgan Family Brooklyn ,NY

this was the first time my husband and i ever went horseback riding. it was one of the best times we ever had. the staff was extremely friendly. they explained exactly how the ride would go, taught us how to steer the horses and even took pictures of us with our camera and cell phone. the ride was an hour through beautiful trails and near the water. the horses followed what our guide's horse did so we really didn't have to worry that we had no experience. we had an amazing time and will definitely go there again. very nice people, a real slice of america!

I was recently at Happy Trails in Mt. Pocono and I loved it! There were five of us who went. My mother-in-law hadn't been on a horse in over 30 years and was very nervous, but the staff put her at ease by helping her on the horse and giving all of us instruction on what to do. The trail guide, Carl, was very pleasant and continuously stopped throughout the trail to ensure that we were all together. He would also gave us instruction on going up and down hills to ensure a safer ride. I can't wait to go back on my next vacation!
