Classless, unprofessional, lacks empathy, and flat out rude are just some words that describe Julie Wegenaar’s style of customer service at J L Wegenaar Co Inc. Information wasn’t delivered in a clear and concise manner; expectations weren’t met from the final approved contract. Money was collected for a service that couldn’t be rendered. Lastly, the PERMENANT picture placement was INCORRECT. The process of losing a loved one unexpectedly is the worst and unfortunately, Julie managed to make this experience even worse for our family. Do yourself a favor and choose any other Monument Company but this one.

Please save yourself from what we experienced with ordering our mother's headstone and go ANYWHERE but here. The customer service was the worst my family has ever received in any industry. I can't say enough about how kind and compassionate family the Wegenaar's are. They are highly professional, honest and very helpful. They did an amazing job. I would highly recommend them!!

The fact that this family is in business for 142 years says it all!! Everyone there is helpful, friendly, honest and caring....the traits you need during a difficult time. I highly recommend this company when you need a headstone or inscription.

If one could find a positive in purchasing a family headstone, this was definitely it. The woman who assisted me was Susan. Her understanding of my family's grief was amazing. Moreover, when I had to put 2 names on this stone within months of one another, she understood what a burden this was, both emotionally and financially. She did everything to be sure all was perfect. This is a family owned and run business. You feel right at home when dealing with them. Their prices are better than any other dealer that I spoke with! They are compassionate and very easy to deal with. I have been dealing with them since 1988 when my Dad passed away. When the inscriptions of other family members had to be done, they were right there and helped me. I have recommended them to so many friends and family. They are honest and part of the community which is what we wanted. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Not only do they do the monuments, but they also put the Wreaths and Palm Crosses for you.
