My car wouldn't start, so before having it towed I wanted to just make doubly sure it wasn't the battery. This was the closest shop to my house I had a neighbor drive me up there with my battery to be tested. I wasn't greeted; instead I was met with scornful look and a man waving me away from the office; just gestured me into the garage and motioned where I could place the battery. Since he didn't ask what the issue was, I tried to explained my situation and asked a few questions to try to understand why my car isn't starting and was responded to with condescension and trying to sell me on fixes to problems I didn't have, without listening to the actual issues with the car. Needless to say I didn't have my car towed there (and it was the starter as I expected and not the battery terminals that he wanted to fix for me). Working in a consulting business myself, poor customer service is just unacceptable regardless of the day you've had or your personal prejudices.

Recently, I had to make a stop into Madeira Beach Garage because of a noise in my front tire. They were very accommodating even though quite busy. The owner took me for a ride and proceeded to put it up and inform me of a nail in the tire. He showed me where all tires were in bad shape. He asked if I wanted him to write up an estimate for 4 tires. He was very thorough and honest in describing my options as to what was good, better and best. For the money he said that the midgrade Goodyears were my best option for the price. Dropped my car off and had it the next day. Overall, a good experience in a time of dishonest car mechanics. While visiting with family in the area - I found the need to get my car serviced. Was very pleased with the most recent service provided by Madeira Beach Garage. Their technicians know their stuff, and I was very pleased with the overall communication & follow-up. Friends of mine had a completely different experience at a small independent Napa Service facility - Olympic Auto Repair in Hudson. No follow-up or communication. I will be using their Sterling services again.

Yes! Stay clear of this garage. We took our car to the garage. We discussed our options and we chose the first (least expensive option) and were told that if we had the work done there they would give us a 12/12 warranty and if the work did not hold within that time frame they would put the repair fee ($1200+) toward a rebuilt or new engine. We paid the garage in full, picked up the car and were told there would be no warranty and no option to utilize the fee paid if the work that was performed did not hold. We based our decision to have this work done on the warranty/options. We could not believe our ears. It has been very upsetting trying to reason with the garage personnel after the work was done. Before the work was done they were all smiles. Extremely discouraging on all counts. Would never recommend this garage to anyone.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS GARAGE!!! We are fairly new to the area and our car had a brake problem. We took it to a local garage in our community - Madeira Beach Garage - they fixed the brakes ($257). After picking the car up we noticed a loud sound that we had not heard before. Thinking it was from what they had done, we took back to them. They looked at it and said that one of the rods were bent thus making the noise. (NEW NOISE- which was not there before taking to them) They wanted to charge us over $400 more dollars to fix that. When we declined to fix, they said it would then cost us $79 to get our car back. We are now having to waste valuable time and stress arguing trying to get our car back. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

I dropped my truck off to have the air condition repaired in august 2006.My truck had to go back a total of 3 times,5 total days of ten hour days before i had my air condition working properly and $1000.00 later,then i noticed my entire dashboard had been cracked and busted in 6 different places.when i called and asked the owner about this he said my dash was already cracked.I take very good care of my truck and always take it to a dealership for all repairs but thought i would give the little guy a chance.WHAT A MISTAKE ! I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO EVERYONE IN THIS AREA TO STAY AWAY FROM MADEIRA BEACH GARAGE!
