Polish Pottery refers to the hand made, hand painted pottery that comes from Boleslawiec, Poland. This is where the special white clay deposits are found. The people of Boleslawiec are as colorful as the pottery and they have perfected the techniques and artistic talent over many generations. The Pottery has been made here since the 1300⿿s. Some ⿿Unikat? pieces are unique to certain artists and will usually have the artist⿿s signature on the back side. Only after years of study can an artist graduate to this esteemed distinction. These pieces usually have more details and elaborate patterns. The Advantages of Polish Pottery Dishwasher, Microwave, Freezer & Oven safe (to 400°F) Non-toxic, free of lead and cadmium ⿿ Safe to use with any food.
