      My partner and I went to open up an account with Hampden bank about a little over a month ago after a bad experience with Bank of America. It was by far the best customer service I have received at a bank in years. They treated me very professionally and courteous and answered all of my questions accordingly. We worked with Sherleen and she assisted us and always is willing to assist us in any of our needs with professionalism and kindness. If you are looking for a new bank I highly recommend Hampden Bank. You will not be disappointed

      When the railroad expanded to western Massachusetts in the 1850s, its workers needed a bank they could call their own. Hampden Bank was chartered in 1852 to fill that niche. The bank operates from seven branch locations in western Massachusetts, including one in Springfield, Mass. It offers personal and business banking services, such as checking and savings accounts; lending services, such as mortgage, home equity, auto and personal loans; online banking; and investment services, such as mutual funds, securities brokerage, retirement planning, budgeting and needs analysis and employee benefits.
