      Bethesda Lutheran Homes and Services supports people with developmental disabilities both in homes and Bethesda-owned facilities. Bethesda s support programs vary and are based on each person's needs. It teaches and shares Christ's learnings while providing supports and services for people with developmental disabilities. It is a nonprofit organization that works with volunteers to help support its ministries. Each year thousands of people volunteer at Bethesda resale shops or donate goods to be sold at the resale shops or to be given to individuals and support Bethesda through financial programs. Bethesda has ties with the Evangelical Lutheran Synod and the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Its education programs have been the cornerstone of its ministries. It offers Bible studies at its facilities and in the community as requested. Bethesda Lutheran Homes and Services has its corporate office in Watertown, Wis. and one of its regional offices in Springfield, Ill.
