Peace & Economic Justice Action Conference Friday February 17, 5:30pm-8:30pm: Free Opening Reception with short film Maria Full of Hope and performances by local spoken word and musical artists (no conference registration necessary!). Saturday February 18, 8:00am-5:30pm: ***Registration and Networking Breakfast begin at 8:00 am. Conference program will begin promptly at 9:00 am.*** Connect with like-minded folks putting values into action and join us for fantastic speakers, 3 "Education for Action" workshop sessions (see list below), light breakfast & lunch! Keynote: Steve Williams, founder and former Executive Director of POWER (People Organized to Win Employment Rights) and co-author of Towards Land, Work and Power: Charting a Path of Resistance to U.S.-led Imperialism Young Activist Leaders Panel Discussion Hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Spokane, 4340 W. Ft. George Wright Drive.
