Dr. Siler grew up watching his father battle with a herniated disc and low back pain. There would be times when he would lay on the couch for days due to the pain. “I remember him going to the chiropractor bent over unable to move well without pain and coming home functioning normal again.” It was this that motivated him to pursue a career in chiropractic. As a college baseball player, pain and injuries were normal. “I experienced disc herniations and a dislocated shoulder, but I always looked for ways to heal naturally, preferring rehabilitation versus surgical options.” That’s what appealed to Dr. Siler most about chiropractic. Chiropractic is a way to allow the body to heal itself without using medication or surgeries. “I’ve seen too many people have had surgery and never been the same afterward.” Education Dr. Siler decided to attend Saint Martin’s University in 2003 to pursue an undergraduate degree in biology and his life long dream of playing college baseball. After graduating in 2007, he enrolled the following year to the University of Western States to obtain is Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Graduating in 2011, he practice for 1 year in the Seattle area before moving to the Spokane Valley area. Skeptical? Give chiropractic a try. I’m an avid golfer and we like to participate in outdoor activities like skiing and water sports. I also sponsor flag football and soccer teams because I think it’s important for kids to stay active.”
