I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I went in, but it definitely wasn't what I got! This place is as good, if not... (More) I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I went in, but it definitely wasn't what I got! This place is as good, if not better, than most of the restaurant/pubs in the area. The prices are great! (2 of us had huge burgers, fries, drinks and wings for about $25) They have standard pub fare, but also branch out with a Bison Burger, Ostrich Burger, and a Salmon Burger (if I remember correctly). The decor is a beachside burger joint, but it's not too much and is actually kind of relaxing! The waitstaff we had was attentive without hovering and brought refills without having to wait 10 minutes or repeatedly ask for them. (Always a plus!) The tables and booths are placed far enough apart that you don't feel like anyone is eating right on top of you. It's 21 plus, so you can't take your little ones...but that might be a plus to some. A.J's is destined to be a local favorite and as long as it stays original to the menu and the current feel...is going to be around for a long time!  (Hide)
