On Dec. 29th, 2007 Strickland Funeral Home buried our beloved Mother in the middle of another family?s family plot. Strickland Funeral Home was notified of this horrific mistake in Jan. of 2008 by the other family whom owned the plot. My family was never notified till June of 2008 when we were contacted by the family themselves & not the funeral home. We sent a certified letter in which was signed for, still nothing. Upon finally being able to speak with both men (both at different times) that own this establishment no one seemed to know a thing. The final result, I was told to hire an attorney to have our Mother moved into her proper resting place. No one has contacted our family since. Our Mother is still (an entire year later) in someone else?s plot. This is not only degrading, disrespectful, unacceptable, & unbelievable but totally negligent. We can not grieve nor rest. This is by far the worst thing to ever happen to us. (Hide)
