I wrote a review last week, when I had 2 new shocks put on the front of my truck. I gave it 5 stars , because it was well deserved. Today, I'd give them 500 stars. I had 2 shocks put on the rear 17 months ago. I noticed that one (drivers side) had broken. I called and was told to bring it in, that the shocks had a lifetime warranty and I would only be charged labor. I took it Sunday morning, and was helped right away. It had been a short time, when I was told that the wrong shocks had been put o0n, and that they were replacing both sides and that I would not be charged a thing. FREE...I got two FREE shocks and FREE labor. A mistake was made 17 months ago and they were HONEST and told me about it and CORRECTED it. I would have never known,,I'm just and old lady. Steven, the mechanic, was wonderful. The two managers, that day, were wonderful. It was a WONDERFUL experience, and it made my day..HONESTY and being treated with respect, and excellent work on your automobile is what you get with Sear's. THANK YOU SEARS!!!!!!!

Store 5/22, bought 2 tires that I request on rear. Waited hour & 1/2. Checked on van & front wheels were off. Asked why were frt wheels off? Told, trainee made mistake & rotated tire. Asked for MGR, didn't have one, call other store. Called, left message, nothing. called Cust Service, reported what happened, apology & promise of gift card (nothing yet) After a hour, two lug nuts missing & all others were lose. I tightened them & went to get lugs from store, Sears paid for them, said Other Mgr called her for details. I left messages for both Mgrs involved, took till 6/7 to speak with Mgr at Lafayette store. Met with him & District MGR, Store offered me $100 gift card . District MGR was defensive from Start, never asked, what he could do to resolve issue & debated all my concerns. I left & came back threw gift card on desk DM was at. He called security, said I was aggressive, Mall lady called police, officer ask me to leave, I did. Called Cust Service again, nothing. Done with $ear$!

This is the best place in town! They are always friendly and do whatever they can to help you. There is no pressure or weird scare tactics and they work quickly. I highly recommend Valley Automotive.

LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOREVER! I have been using Sears Automotive (Lawton) off and on since 1999 and had received Ok service. That is until August 2012 when I took my 2006 Tundra in for a tire repair, rotation, and balance of the Michelin tires I purchased at Sears along with an oil change. I dropped the truck off before noon and called at 5 pm about its status. Was told it was almost done, so I headed back to Sears. Upon arriving I see my Tundra on the lift with oil gushing out from under the engine and skid plate with a massive oil spill underneath. When I asked the Tech what happened, he said the new filter was not tightened and when they started the truck oil went all over the engine. They also said they would clean up the engine. Then I find out that the tires had not been rotated, balanced, and the one with a leak not repaired. After 5 hrs, nothing had been completed. Guess you can say the guy on the phone lied. I recommend you look somewhere else!

Stay away!!! Horrible service. Repairs done incorrectly. Took car back twice for same repair. Sears was unable to find problem with repair. Took car to dealership and problem was located and correct repair made. The convenience of Sears is alluring but, do yourself a favor and take your vehicle any place other than Sears.

I own a local independant full service auto repair facility. We currently do not offer alignment services, but do repairs that require alignment afterward. My experience using Sears at The Avenues in Jacksonville, FL for alignment services has been just fine. I and my whole staff are ASE Master tech certified, with over 30 years experience, and these folks have never once tried to up-sell or offer additional work that was not totally warranted. We appreciate the honest and timely service and it allows us to offer our customers one-stop repairs with no hassles.

These folks charged me for an alignment on what was likely an already aligned vehicle, and messed up the alignment so bad I blew a shock. My steering wheel is also way off center now, and they stripped 3 of 4 bolts on the skidplate of my 4X4 truck, and didn't even get them tight.

Stay away from their 3yr battery replacement plan. Good luck getting a replacement or prorated on a new battery. Two other automotive service said my battery was not holding a charge. Brought the battery back to sears, they said battery was fine and nothing they can do.

Here is my experiance, I drove into the lower levcel of this place. Walked over to where of course they sell service, W I wanted two new tires for my vehicle. All was going well until the schlep bangs a hole in my fuel tank cover, gets grease on the caps of my rims 700.00 a piece, and torques my lugnuts to 150 LBS when the manufacturer spefifies 98 LBS, they do not use a torque wrench, they just use the air tool and hope for the best.

Just called and explained the basics of the problem with my vehicle. I ended with is this a service you provide or what would you suggest. The employee, Angela, just responded with "No, Ma'am" with no further assistance or guidance as to how to solve this problem or where to go.

After locating the Sears Auto Center on line and choosing the specific site you want why doesn't it just display the phone number rather than go through a National voice mail? Even then if the zip code is important to obtain the number, why isn't it displayed? This takes stupid to a new level. Will the service be any better?

Sears really sucks. While the merchandise might be good, just TRY to buy an appliance. They are way understaffed and it takes forever to even SEE a salesman. Why a store would make it difficult to purchase their merchandise... is... well... puzzling to say the least. This has happened several times, and I've heard the same from several people. If you want to know why this company and its Fort Collins store are foundering, I dare you... try to buy a Dishwasher or a Refridgerator at this store, even in the middle of a weekday afternoon. I tried to buy a refrigerator... had $800 to spend right there and knew what I wanted. I left after a while: One salesman was 'in charge of' that stuff and other salespersons were not allowed to sell fridges (apparently). I bought a fridge somewhere else. I recently tried to buy one of their dishwashers on a Wed. afternoon... same deal. I am NOT going to wait for a half hour to buy a dishwasher. I thought Sears was a consumer product company?

Called ahead to get my vehicle in, then reintereated at vehicle check in that I was on my lunch break. After 1:15 they never touched my vehicle and my keys were left in the vehicle just sitting on the lot.

We finally decided to allow them to work on my girls car. They appeared to be fair and one thing is that they did an excellent job. He informed us of the brake job warranty and the steps to use it if necessary.
