This store rocks! They often have 50% off storewide sales. Their furniture is awesome, lots of solid wood items, great sofas, cool endtables and stuff you can refinish or use as-is! When linens are half-price you can buy all the sheets and blankets and use them instead of expensive new fabric for all your projects! Second-hand clothes are naturally pre-washed, pre-shrunk, broken in.... mmm, yummy soft. Their flaws are up to you to discover, so shop carefully. If you find the clothes don't fit and you don't want to hassle with returning them, you're not out a lotta money. Turn them into rags or pass them on! And always check out the glassware and bric-a-brac-- heavy glass or ceramic bowls make better pet food and water containers than storebought. Picture frames, did I mention those?? Never pay retail for a picture again! Catch the eclectic bargain at Sally Ann's instead!

A local favorite of mine

Overprice some of their merchandise, I've seen articles priced higher than they are brand new, also put outrageous prices on merchandise they feel are antiques. This store is a thrift store not an antique store, a for instance, they had a cedar chest that needed refinishing and they had $300.00 on it. I've also found other furniture marked higher than if you bought it at a department store brand new. Remember this is a thrift store for the poor. If you mark items as antiques they must be appraised by an antique dealer. The quality of clothing is very poor, it is what I would take to the landfill, this has only been happening in the last few months.
