I would not recommend this shop. I have a long list of reasons. The damage to my wiring and computers has totaled 2600$ and the number is rising. The Ford house found more problems yesterday. I will update as the problems become more aware!

Great service; honest folks.

Ellis Auto towed our car to their shop. They said the motor was shot and found a used replacement for $2500. Their was a piece missing from the shift/lock device (override button if the car won't go into gear) that was not missing when we took the car in. We took the car back to have the A/C repaired (done) and to repair the new problem of car not shifting into gear as well as replace the override button that they somehow lost. After attempting to pick up our "repaired" car twice the overide divice was not installed and it would not go into gear. The mechanic actually suggested we carry a screw driver with us and stick into the hole where the override button goes. Bottom line, they lost the override button and they didn't fix the problem. A business must take responability for it's employees and if a mechanic lost this part it should be replaced. We were made to feel like we were at fault. Poor attitude. I know the Ellis have two stores. I took my Jeep to the shop downtown. It is really clean and the guys are professionally dressed and they even gave me a ride home when I left my car there for service. It made what could have been a bad day a very pleasant experience. I give them 5 Stars. Becky B.
