Elizabeth on 37th, in Savannah, Georgia, opened in May of 1981 as the creation of Chef Elizabeth Terry and her husband Michael. Elizabeth is devoted to classic Southern cooking and has extensively researched Savannah cooking of the 18th and 19th centuries. She has combined traditional cooking methods with an avid interest in fresh, health-conscious menus. The elegant turn-of-the-century Southern mansion is the setting for Chef Elizabeth Terry's stunning new regional cooking based on traditional recipes. The seasonal menu makes use of the bounty of fresh local seafood and produce, highlighted with herbs from our own gardens.
