If I could give 0 stars I would. The same exact thing that happened to everyone else - the stalking while we were shopping and rude demeanor - happened to us today. Plus the fact that when you have the cutest puppy in the world and someone doesn't want to pet her (a pet store owner) there must be something wrong with them. In addition, I found her extremely dense. I asked whether she had additional sizes of a shirt in the back. She responded "What we have is out". I said, "Ok no problem, what size does this run up to?" Answer: "Everything we have is on the shelf". .. Ok, not my question, but that's fine. Question: "Ok, what size does dog does a size Large fit?" Answer: "Everything is out and we can't order anything more." ....."Yeah, I get that. That's not my question." Blank stare. I walked out without a goodbye and will find it on Amazon and never return to that gremlin.

Had a horrible experience today 4 days before xmas. My dog tinkled and she reprimanded me and my 2 lb. chihuahua who i had bought his sweater he was wearing from her store. ... Anyway she told me my dog peed on a corner of a table.. Here is a tissue .. clean it up.. and you have to go outside because there is no garbage can in store.. She was asking me to leave ..and no garbage can outside.. i was a teacher in high school for for 13 years and can't remember being as humiliated by any adult in 20 years.. Its obvious she hates me and hates my dog.. this upset me so much.. I had had many deaths over the last years and xmas is a hard time.. I was just trying to get out and enjoy saratoga with my family.. I feel degraded .. its a hard xmas when you contact people such as this.. I quess I feel the good times are gone or i would not be coming in contact with such a person.. Now I feel i have to be ready for such a confrontation.. It was so bad I wrote several reviews in different places. And i never have ever written a negative.. i don't believe in it. so even this has gone against my principles.

I was walking around saratoga with my mother and sisters. We had already visited another pet store very similar to sloppy kisses and had a GREAT experience but all 4 of us have dogs and I specifically was looking for sweaters to purchase for my dogs (3 pugs) but I needed to show my husband what try looked like before I spent 150 dollars on DOG SWEATERS. In order to choose which to purchase I was going to take a picture and send it to my husband to clarify that we wanted to spend that much on the sweaters. Out of nowhere, a woman with blonde hair and a bad attitude comes stomping over and informs me " that we do not allow pictures in our store". Ok. Fair. So I look around trying to find the sign and she explains " it's stated on our website if your interested". I said that I was not interested and frankly, I will tell everyone I know to never ever shop here again. 1) if she had asked me nicely I would have explained that I was not taking pictures to then buy this item someplace else- I was, in fact, texting it to someone to purchase that day.

2) If you are so concerned about people taking pictures of items to buy elsewhere, maybe don't have a woman who has no social skills interacting with your customers. I have the ability to remember the product with taking a picture which I am now going to purchase elsewhere.

3) Remove the carpet. There is dog urine all over it.

4) Read some of these reviews! Upon leaving this store I immediately opened yelp and yellow pages and looked at the reviews to confirm that this woman is out of control. We can't all be wrong! The explanation is that someone is funding this woman's venture that doesn't have access to these reviews.

5) Learn some social skills! I teach children with special needs and there are plenty of resources out there for people who don't know how to interact with others. That being said, I suspect this owner simply thinks she is better than everyone else and doesn't realize that customers don't want to give their money to nasty horrible people. Boo!!

Saratoga is a great pet friendly place but everyone knows that the owner of Sloppy Kisses is extremely RUDE. I would never suggest shopping there and everyone I've ever asked talked to about sloppy kisses has said the same thing. As a true dog lover I've given them a few chances and every time was worse than the last. UNBELIEVABLY RUDE RUDE RUDE

This was by far the WORST customer experience my mother and I have ever come across. I have never written a business review before, and this experience was so bad that I HAD TO. It was also the kind of experience that kept haunting us the rest of the day because we could not believe HOW rude someone could be.

We were walking along broadway and came across “Sloppy kisses” and was for excited to go in to see what cute little outfits we could try to put our beagle in. Once we stepped into the store, the woman was busy at work and ignored us and didn’t greet us. My mother and I discussed (to ourselves) how the little crab outfit would look cute on our dog. We said he would probably be “Humiliated” since he NEVER wears outfits. The woman (the owner of the store) looked up and said “Well then this is the WRONG store for you!” and continued on with stating “She has been servicing dogs up to 200 pounds” We proceeded to the next room and she followed us in there and stood there and stared while we were shopping. It made us feel very uncomfortable to the point where we didn’t want to be there anymore. I then asked a question about an outfit that I had seen my aunts dog in and asked if it came from Sloppy Kisses. The woman put her hand on her hip and with attitude said “Oh she must have gotten that at like walmart or target.”. So she basically acted like there was no way that that outfit would be seen in her store. My mother and I looked at each other and left.

I deal with rude people all day at my job, but I have never seen someone give so much attitude FOR NO REASON. Like it’s a pet store lady!! You sell animal clothes. GET REAL.

12/27/10 - A dusting of snow AND this business is CLOSED! I guess they will be open again in the spring. I took three of my dogs up to be fitted wth sweaters (left two at home) and the place was CLOSED. They lost a lot of business and I will certainly not go there again or have a kind word as I made a special trip as I was on vacation. Oh well, guess they don't want to stay in business very long.

Upscale store with a dog bakery and designer doggie boutique. The owner is very knowledgeable about sizing ...she fit my BIG dog in a warm and cute coat.
