A Santa Rosa local favorite, Mac Repair Santa Rosa has been servicing Apple computers since I first bought a mac 15 years ago. Diagnosis is free (the other mac repair shop in Santa Rosa charges $50 just to assess the computer, even if the result is they say it isn't worth repairing! My daughter found out the hard way.) The great PC tech we'd worked with for years left the area, and he recommended Mac Repair Santa Rosa, when we made the switch from PC computers to Macintosh. Mac Repair made the switch to Mac seamless both in terms of our email, data and programs and in terms of the very helpful tutorials they provided us at the time. They've seen our kids grow up, supporting their growing mac needs all along the way, and most recently got our granddaughter set up with a new MacBook Pro for college. Time flies. We're lucky to have apple technical service of this caliber in Santa Rosa and Sonoma County in general.

All Data on Hard Drive Recovered! ALL my music, photos, word docs & excel charts, email, contact, calendar, quicken files. . . When my hard drive failed & all my data was lost during a service at the Apple Store in the Mall, the Genius referred me to Mac Repair Santa Rosa. (Apple doesn't do Data Recovery and - I found out the hard way that they aren't responsible for data lost during their repairs.) Both techs I dealt with at Mac Repair were super knowledgeable and helpful. Very pleasant voiced receptionist answered the phone (no phone trees) she took detailed notes apparently as the tech seemed to know word for word what had happened with Apple. Check in was fast & efficient. Had my MacBook back about 36 hours after drop off with regular - no emergency service. Way faster & cheaper than the alternative data recovery shop in Marin that Apple recommended!
