This firm is a cheat and a fraud. Rosario is a crook. He will promise one thing and deliver on nothing. I'd have better luck doing work in pro per. This is the worst attorney I have ever met. Shame on you Rosario Perry. If I could give this bum negative "stars" I would.

I might as well have flushed $4,782.50 down the toilet as I would have received the same results as I did hiring Rosario Perry. Forgot the adage "You get what you pay for." At a whopping top of the scale $435 hr. you would expect results, right? Wrong!

As a disabled senior citizen, I was re-couperating from my dog & I having just been hit as pedestrians by an SUV, besides having to deal with the untimely death of my former husband & children's father 5 mo. prior. I hired Mr. Perry to negotiate a settlement with the City re: an alleged TOT fee demand of nearly $16,000 on the famous property, known as "Jim Morrison's last known U.S. residence." I made it clear to Mr. Perry that I needed this case settled ASAP as my bldg. was scheduled for final approval by City Council for Historical Landmark designation and B & B approval which I'd been working on for the past 2 yrs. Doors fans all over the world were counting on me!

Mr. Perry required & was paid a $2,500.00 retainer. He had a month to negotiate a settlement with the city prior to the hearing. The results? Nada! He showed up at the afternoon hearing accompanied by his young, attractive brunette "associate" in a rumpled shirt and mussed up hair, looking like he'd just crawled out of bed rather than dressed in professional attire of a suit and tie. Mr. Perry's results from the hearing? Nada! Other than requiring another $2,282.50 from me to "replenish his retainer" and further drawing out the case (to my detriment) after the city gave him another 30 day extension.Nearly 3 mo. went by. Mr. Perry never contacted me or the city. He handed my case over to his "associate" who is NOT an attorney, at the "reduced" rate of $265 hr. What a deal! I spent the next 1 1/2 months phoning and/or emailing the "associate" and eventually Mr. Perry, asking the status of my case. My Historical Landmark Designation/B & B final approval hearing was taken off calendar due to Mr. Perry's failure to negotiate a settlement with the city.The City scheduled another TOT hearing 3 months after the 1st hearing. I confronted the "associate" about her allegations that she had been in contact with the city, which city officials denied. She withdrew from the case. I confronted Mr. Perry. He withdrew as council, leaving me with having to act as my own attorney after I'd paid him $4,782.50.

I am not an attorney or accountant, but I was able to settle my case by negotiating a settlement for approx. $6,000 less than the city was demanding, something Mr. Perry was unable to accomplish in 4 months time!

Allegedly he put his own financial needs ahead of his clients legal needs.

As a side note, Mr. Perry also never bothered to sign our Attorney-Client Fee Agreement which included a mandatory arbitration clause so I sued him in small claims court. He sent another young, attractive blonde "associate" in his place (this one, however, WAS an attorney- licensed 4 mo.!) Mr. Perry filed a Complaint for Declaratory Relief to Enforce Arbitration Clause in Superior Court, preventing my small claims court case from being heard, and with his case hearing date scheduled, and I might add, delayed, for more than a year away!
